* Frequent fault with used devices: The cassette compartment opens again by itself after closing, so playing a cassette is no longer possible. The reason for this is a worn-out rubber belt for the motor that opens and closes the cassette door. With a new belt, the unit will work properly again. New belts are offered on eBay. Changing the belt is quite time-consuming, because the drive has to be removed from the front and partly disassembled to get to the belt.

  • Frequent fault with used devices: The cassette compartment opens again by itself after closing, so playing a cassette is no longer possible. The reason for this is a worn-out rubber belt for the motor that opens and closes the cassette door. With a new belt, the unit will work properly again. New belts are offered on eBay. Changing the belt is quite time-consuming, because the drive has to be removed from the front and partly disassembled to get to the belt.
