Die Vollverstärker Sony TA-F270,TA-F470,TA-F490 und TA-F511 sind eigentlich
 
derselbe Verstärker mit eher graduellen Abstufungen hinsichtlich der verwendeten
 
Bauteilequalität,der Ausgangsstufentransistoren und der Transformatoren.
 
Sie sind die kontinentaleuropäischen Versionen der britischen Modelle TA-F440E
 
TA-F442E und TA-F540E/TA-F542E plus der Line-/Klangregelstufe aus dem etwas
 
älteren TA-F420.
 
Während der TA-F270 insgesamt qualitativ etwas abfällt (und praktisch identisch
 
mit dem in Japan verkauften TA-F500 ohne "ES"ist),befinden sich die übrigen drei
 
deutschen Modelle praktisch auf einem Niveau: gehobene Mittelklasse. Was ja auch
 
ihrer Plazierung im damaligen Sony Programm entspricht.
 
Die britischen Modelle können sich dank der fehlenden Line-/Klangregelstufe und
 
nicht vorhandener FTZ-Filtereien klanglich etwas besser darstellen.
 
Allen gemein ist ein solides Blechkleid und ein sauberer Innenaufbau.
 
Zudem sind die Verstärker servicfreundlich konstruiert und lassen sich durch
