- The first version of Pioneer's classic (and rare) Test Instrument. It integrated an oscilloscope with waveform/lissajous/FM multipath display options and combined that with dual (V/H or L/R) level meter. The SD-1000 isn't quite as versatile in quad-display/analysis features as the next version, SD-1100, but it's a classic design and a very useful (and attractive) test instrument.
