Reviews[edit]
- Somewhat lower-powered variant of the Kenwood KA-7090 R
- Because only one FET operates per channel, rather than two as in the 7090R (both with tolerances that are not always the same), it can do everything slightly better than the 7090 R in terms of airiness, lightness and impulse because of the same power supply at a lower output power, but has slightly higher distortion (at a level no one hears anyway).
- Uses TRAITR (Thermally Reactive Advanced Instantaneous Transistor).
- Provides 3 sockets on the rear panel, one of which is unswitched.
