Data[edit]
T&A Pulsar PA 1000, integrated amplifier without remote control. The unit dates from 1990 and was manufactured with a lot of handwork in 32052 Herford. The inner life presents itself very high-quality and lets expect a long life span. The original price was 2500 DM, considering the quality the price is good. The inscription on the front panel is milled in !!! The tone control channel separated, all inputs and outputs as well as loudness, mono, flat, speakers are switched via encapsulated relays. Encapsulated toroidal transformer wrapped in chrome. 130 watts into 8 ohms or 200 watts into 4 ohms should be possible with only 2 transistors per channel only on paper. This unit still works 100% faultless after 25 years of operation.
Preamplifier: Frequency response: 3Hz - 400kHz Noise Sp. Distances: 104 dB High level MM/MC 87 dB/83dB Distortion factor: less than 0.001
power amplifier: Rated power per channel: 8Ohm/130Watt both channels simultaneously: 4Ohm/200Watt, 2Ohm/260Watt pulse power: 8Ohm/200Watt, 4Ohm/270Watt, 2Ohm/350Watt Power bandwidth: 3Hz - 300kHz Frequency response +0dB-3dB: 2Hz - 400kHz Attenuation factor: greater than 1000 Noise margin: greater than 110dB Distortion factor: less than 0.001 Power supply filtering: approx.: 53000 mF Dimensions:15x44x36cm Weight: 11 Kg
