- The CD 930 is a very high quality upscale CD player. The device is very robust, easy to operate and excellently manufactured. It also delivers excellent sound and operates with perfect oversampling.
- Problems: Unfortunately, Philips has installed a gear made of a not long-term stable plastic for the drawer mechanism. Still (as of 2016) one gets these gears (CDM 9) as a spare part, although not as an original part of Philips, but as a high-quality replica.
