But sonically, it's definitely not easy to find something better in this price range. I even go so far out on a limb and claim that they could hold their own in the class up to 2000 €. I can't say for sure how much they cost, but I certainly didn't pay more than 1000 DM. However they had convinced me sonically. I recently got them out of the basement again...a shame that I let them rot there for so long. No beauties, nothing valuable on them and the front cover is even inferior. But sonically, it's definitely not easy to find something better in this price range. I even go so far out on a limb and claim that they could hold their own in the class up to 2000 €. Visually, the boxes do not make much ... Is a factor that should not be decisive in speakers but. My friends swore by various Canton speakers at the time. Certainly finer but lacked volume.
