Specializing in electrostatic headphones (earspeakers) and amplifiers, it is the world leader in this segment.
 
Founded in 1938, Stax introduced the first electrostatic headphones in 1960, and today manufactures exclusively electrostatic hi-fi headphone amplifiers and accessories.
