Onkyo DX 6550 von 1988/ 89. Er war der zweitgrösste im damaligen Onkyo Programm und kostete über 1000 DM.

Das Gerät ist 8,5 KG schwer, Laufwerk Lade und Gehäuse sind grösstenteils aus Metall gefertigt. Im Innern gut zu erkennen das solide wuchtige Laufwerk, sowie die getrennt aufgebauten diskreten Platinen für Analog und Digital.
