* The Nakamichi T-100 Audio Analyzer is a powerful diagnostic tool that helps you achieve optimum performance from your audio system.

* Originally designed as a tool for the serious record player, the analyzer also provides valuable information on preamps, amplifiers, turntables, cartridges, speakers and microphones.

* The T-100 contains the functions of an oscillator, vacuum tube voltmeter, distortion meter, and wow & flutter meter in a compact, portable form.

* The oscillator provides 21 different frequencies and pink noise for accurate frequency measurements from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The pink noise generator is especially useful for subjective testing of cassette decks, speakers and microphones.

* The 400 Hz oscillator can be used with the built-in distortion analyzer to measure the harmonic distortion of tape decks and amplifiers.

* The 3 kHz oscillator can be used to test the record / play flutter and flutter of a tape deck with a choice of weighted or unweighted readings.

* With a 3-kHz test tape, you can measure playback bandwidth deviation and wow & flutter only. With a 3 kHz test tape, you can measure turntable flutter and wow & flutter.

* The T-100 also provides A-weighted noise readings from inputs up to 10 uV.

* Finally, the analyzer provides extremely accurate peak or average level readings. You can use the analyzer to supplement your tape deck's VU readings and avoid tape saturation when recording.

* If you connect the analyzer in parallel to your speakers, you will avoid overloading the amplifier / speaker during playback.
