Hi, have had these speakers for years. Am not a technology freak though. The in many forums condemned mushrooms (tweeters) are in my opinion but the best thing about the boxes. The bass, on the other hand, is the worst. Nevertheless, everyone has praised the quality of these speakers.......and I have been totally satisfied with them for years!  Especially in "normal operation" a very, very good sound is noticeable. However, if you want to organise a house party with these speakers, you should rather look for other speakers. They are really not suitable for that and probably not produced for that purpose. Hi, habe diese Boxen seit Jahren. Bin allerdings kein Technikfreak. Die in vielen Foren verdammten Pilze (Hochtöner) sind meiner Meinung nach aber das Beste an den Boxen. Abstriche sind dagegen beim Bass zu erhören. Trotzdem hat noch jeder die Qualität dieser Boxen gelobt.......und ich bin seit Jahren auch total zufrieden damit!  Gerade im "normalen Betrieb" ist ein sehr, sehr guter Klang zu bemerken. Wer eine House-Party mit diesen Boxen veranstalten möchte, sollte sich allerdings lieber nach anderen Boxen umsehen. Dafür sind sie wahrlich nicht geeignet und vermutlich auch nicht produziert worden. Grüsse an die Welt.

The 4Pi tweeter is definitely the special feature of this speaker. Whoever appreciates the sound of this all-round radiator won't want anything else.

Kleine Ergänzung: Der 4Pi-Hochtöner ist definitv das Besondere an dem Lautsprecher. Wer den Klang schätzt, will nichts anderes mehr.

Small further addition: the speakers have a comparatively low efficiency and are therefore demanding with regard to the upstream amplifier. (-) However, they are included in the speaker library of Cara (the room simulation programme) and can therefore be set up in the best possible way. (+) Replacing the speaker base alone increases the (bass) precision considerably. I used two 1 cm thick steel plates and had the holes and threads drilled. Then three bell bronze spikes each and the speaker is in a different league. (++) Conclusion: with a little tuning and careful setup this is a speaker that gives a lot of pleasure. And with that, greetings to the (hi-fi) world.

Die Boxen haben einen vergleichsweise schwachen Wirkungsgrad und sind daher anspruchsvoll hinsichtlich des vorgeschalteten Verstärker. (-) Sie sind aber in der Boxenbibliothek von Cara (dem Raumsimulationsprogramm) enthalten und können daher optimalst aufgestellt werden. (+) Alleine wenn man den Boxenfuß ersetzt, gewinnen sie mächtig an (Bass-)Präzision. Ich habe dazu zwei 1 cm starke Stahlbleche verwendet und mir die Bohrungen bzw. Gewinde setzen lassen. Dann noch jeweils drei Glockenbronze-Spikes rein und die Box spielt in einer anderen Liga. (++) Fazit: Mit ein klein wenig Tuning und sorgfältigem Aufstellen ist das ein Lautsprecher, der viiiiel Freude bereitet. Und damit ebenfalls Grüße an die (Hifi-)Welt.
