The DENON DCD-2700 was refined in two stages by the Aschaffenburg hi-fi dealer "HÖR AN" (Inh. Michael Imhoff).
 
Both versions received higher quality and tightly tolerated Burr Brown D/A converter chips, the second expansion stage additionally a separate power supply for the converter section.
